If you have been watching the national news lately, you will have seen that the Pacific Northwest recently got pounded with some serious rain/wind storms. The storms flooded quite a few areas, and also caused I-5 in Washington State to be closed for the last few days. The storms have passed over now, and this evening it was perfectly calm along the river.

Those of you who visit my photos will recognize this spot. I decided to head down here this evening after work to check it out. I haven’t been down to the river for about a month now, and after all these storms, the water was incredibly high. In the future, I would love to get this shot with some fog and some moving clouds.

Let me know if you think I should crop out some of the (dark) bottom here. I sorta like it, but not sure how others will take it.

I took this shot about an hour before sunrise yesterday morning along the waterfront in Sausalito, one of my favorite photo spots in the Bay Area. The views of San Francisco are great and the colors and scene vary dramatically at different times of day and in different weather. About a month ago I took a very similar shot just after sunset and everything was blue; yesterday morning everything was gold.

It’s been a long time since I began taking photos as a hobby…..!
But when Zahid, introduced me into Flickr only I got the chance to upload my first photo which was on the 2nd September 2006. From then onwards I enjoy spending time taking photos and I would tell it’s a golden opportunity for me to show the world the creativity within me, using my photos….!
Now I have got more than two thousand contacts from all around the globe who fave me and comment me. Now I take photography seriously and I appreciate the encouragement given by my colleagues from Flickr as well the others who view my photos. So today I would like to thank for those who comment me, fave me and support me in this field…….!! Thanx……..!!
